Durham Designs is a modern day design business, family owned and based out of Bowmanville. We serve all of Durham region, creating wonderful spaces for many different clients with many different tastes. No task is too small or too large, too simple or too crazy!
Lead Designer and founder of Durham Designs, Melissa Hildebrandt, graduated from Sheridan College Institute of Technology in Oakville, Ontario. She started Durham Designs with the goal of bringing many different design services under one name.
When she is not designing, Melissa has been involved in many different types of volunteer work such as going to the Dominican Republic and building houses for Haitian Refugees. She has also designed, along side of Sarah Richardson, a one of a kind rug for a high end company based out of Montreal, Rug Studio, where their rugs are handmade in India.
Melissa always knew she wanted to be an Interior Designer and was inspired by her grandfather.
